The Writing Center holds workshops throughout the semester. Our next workshop will be:
College Application Essay Workshop: Thinking about those college application essays? Trying to figure out what to write and how to sell yourself? Then this workshop is for you. We will do some brainstorming for ideas, look at successful and unsuccessful approaches and give you some tips about how to approach the essays.
When: Thursday, November 29th, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Where: The Writing Center Lab, rm M617
Why: To represent yourself well in your college applications!
If you plan to attend, please send an email to Jenny Koster, Writing Center Coordinator, by Tuesday, Nov.27. We will also offer this workshop on a Friday afternoon in late January.
