PVCC cannot guarantee course frequency; however, to aid in student planning, courses typically are offered as indicated below.

F = Offered fall semester   Sp = Offered spring semester
Su = Offered summer cr = Credit/credits
 
GER 101 Beginning German I (F, 4 cr)

Introduces understanding, speaking, reading and writing skills and emphasizes basic German sentence structures.

Lecture 4-5 hours per week. May include one additional hour oral practice per week.

GER 102 Beginning German II (Sp, 4 cr)

Introduces understanding, speaking, reading and writing skills and emphasizes basic German sentence structures.

Prerequisite: Completed GER 101 or instructor permission.

Lecture 4-5 hours per week. May include one additional hour oral practice per week.

GER 201 Intermediate German I (F, 3 cr)

Continues to develop understanding, speaking, reading and writing skills. German is used in the classroom.

Prerequisite: Completed GER 102 or instructor permission.

Lecture 3-4 hours per week. May include one additional hour oral practice per week.

GER 202 Intermediate German II (Sp, 3 cr)

Continues to develop understanding, speaking, reading and writing skills. German is used in the classroom.

Prerequisite: Completed GER 201 or equivalent.

Lecture 3-4 hours per week. May include one additional hour oral practice per week.
