PVCC Welcomes New Director of IRPIE
Charlottesville, VA - Jolene Hamm has joined Piedmont Virginia Community College as Director of Institutional Research, Planning & Institutional Effectiveness. A 1999 graduate of Fluvanna County High School and an alumnus of PVCC, Hamm was most recently the Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness at Ferrum College.
As director, Hamm is responsible for leadership and management of research, strategic planning and annual planning, assessment and accreditation-related activities for the College. She is a member of PVCC's President's staff.
Hamm is a graduate of Virginia Tech where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Poultry Science, a Master of Science degree in Career and Technical Education and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Agriculture and Extension Education, with an emphasis in program planning and teaching. In addition, she was a research consultant for the USDA Food and Agricultural Education Information System.
