Gospel Music Showcase Feb. 23
Charlottesville, VA - Piedmont Virginia Community College presents Notes on High, A Gospel Showcase Saturday, Feb. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Stage Theatre in the V. Earl Dickinson Building. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
Four of the area's best local gospel bands and choirs will perform music from the gospel tradition including The Celebration Mass Choir of Galilee Baptist Church (Louisa), Five Boys of Zion (Esmont), Chosen Gospel Group (Louisa) and Sounds of Zion Gospel Group (Harrisonburg). Concert host is local radio station 92.7 Kiss FM's Chucky Hayes, host of the "Total Praise with Chucky Hayes Sunday Gospel Show."
Tickets are available by calling the PVCC Box Office at 434.961.5376 and charging them to a VISA or MasterCard, or by purchasing them at Sidetracks, University of Virginia Arts Box Office, Greenberry's Coffee, Payne's Beauty Supply (830 Cherry Ave.) and the PVCC Cashier's Office during normal business hours. Tickets can also be purchased at the PVCC Box Office window within two hours before the performance.
The Dickinson Building is located at the south end of College Drive. Ample, free parking is located in front of the building. The Main Stage Theatre offers comfortable seating and is wheelchair and stroller accessible. All ages are welcome.
