PVCC Names New VP for Finance & Administrative Services
Charlottesville, VA - Stephen Parker has joined Piedmont Virginia Community College as vice president for finance and administrative services. As the new vice president, Parker oversees the College's business, human resources, security and buildings and grounds offices and serves as treasurer of the PVCC Educational Foundation.
Parker was formerly the chief financial officer at the Paul Hebert Louisiana State University (LSU) Law Center in Baton Rouge. His previous experience also includes executive director for finance at Baton Rouge Community College and more than 20 years of fiscal management experience in the Louisiana Department of Education and in state government.
Parker received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southeastern Louisiana University and a master's degree in public administration from LSU.
