PVCC Board to Meet Sept. 5
Charlottesville, VA - The public is invited to attend the upcoming meeting of the Piedmont Virginia Community College Board on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at 4 p.m. on PVCC's campus in the Technology Wing of the Main Building, room M814 (W.A. Pace Board Room). A sign-up sheet will be available 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the meeting for persons interested in addressing the Board.
PVCC is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia - principally residents of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson. Our main campus is located in Albemarle County. It is one of 23 community colleges in Virginia that comprise the Virginia Community College System.
Since the College opened in 1972, more than 110,000 students have taken classes, and more than 10,700 associate degrees and certificates have been awarded.
The College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate degrees.
