Discover SciTE Degree Programs at Free Event May 12
Charlottesville, VA - Piedmont Virginia Community College will host a free event to showcase science and technology (SciTE) programs of study on Saturday, May 12, from 10 a.m. until noon. The event will be held in room 827 of the Technology Wing in the Main Building on the PVCC campus.
The event offers students interested in studying science, engineering or computer science the chance to meet faculty, hear guest speakers and participate in a SciTE challenge competition. Light refreshments will be provided.
A scholarship for students enrolled (or intending to enroll) full time in PVCC's associate of science degree program in computer science, engineering or science with the goal of transferring to a four-year baccalaureate program is available. The scholarship is funded through a grant from the National Science Foundation. Additional information about the scholarship is available at www.pvcc.edu/scite.
