Just added! Building a Computer from Parts Academy for 6th-9th graders
Can you count to two? If yes, then you can build a complete computer system from parts and load the operating system. Learn about computer system fundamentals including the binary number system and logic gates, the elements of any computer system and operations at a basic level. Mark Fitzgerald teaches electronics at PVCC.

New: Kids in the Kitchen: Learn to Cook! (Opens for enrollment May 15th)
Do you like to mix, bake, and prepare a delicious lunch? This is the class for you! Join Mr. Tom Cervelloni, Director of Food and Beverage at U.Va.'s Darden School, to learn how to prepare a healthy salad, make meatballs, and scoop muffins and cookies! See how things cook in the Jefferson School's state of the art demonstration kitchen. Learn basic rules of kitchen safety and food preparation, and practice your team work skills! You and your new chef friends will create a delicious lunch to share with your parents on Friday. Limit 10 students. This class opens for enrollment May 15th. Workforce Services is unable to take your child's registration until that date.
