Q: How do I schedule and take a math placement test?
A: Contact the Learning Center at 434.961.5320 or click here for helpful testing information. You may also stop by the Learning Center in room M607 of PVCC's Main Building.
Q: Can I get free tutoring in math at PVCC?
A: You can get free tutoring in the Math Center located in the Main Building, room M607. No appointment is needed. Click here to see tutoring hours.
Q: What textbook will I be using for my math class?
A: Visit the PVCC Bookstore online, and click on "Textbooks and Course Materials." Use the drop-down menus to make selections for semester, class number, section, etc. PVCC's Bookstore is located in the Main Building. You may also visit PVCC's Used Book Web site.
Q: When is the deadline to enroll in or drop a math class?
A: These dates are always posted on PVCC's Academic Calendar.
Q: Does PVCC offer online math classes?
A: Yes. We currently offer two online classes: Finite Mathematics (MTH 180) and Statistics (MTH 240).
