Logging in to My PVCC and Blackboard
Now that you have your username and password you are ready to log in.
Go to the following web site: http://pv.my.vccs.edu
(also accessible from the My PVCC icon on the College Homepage).
You are presented with a login form.
- Enter your username
- Enter your password
- Click the "Log In" button
If you cannot access Blackboard, first try the password reset visible below the login fields. If you still have trouble email bbsupport@pvcc.edu with your full name, Student ID/EmplID and contact information. You can also call the PVCC Help Desk at 434.961.5261.
Please Note: if you are new to the VCCS, you will not have a Blackboard account until 24 hours after you register for your first class.
After you log in you will see a welcome screen with your name on it.
This site is a single place to sign on to access Blackboard, Student Information System (SIS8.9) [also known as PeopleSoft] and Student email.
From here you can click on the links for each of these tools as needed in the next few sections.
