Your Username and Password
My PVCC is the portal for all VCCS (Virginia Community College System) shared applications. You will be using the Blackboard Online Course Management System to access your web course. You will also be required to use the provided VCCS email for all class related correspondence. You register for classes, request transcripts or look up your official grades in the Student Information system (SIS). In order to log into My PVCC, you must first obtain your username.
Obtaining your username:
Click on the VCCS link below.
Look up your username and set your password.
- Enter your last name
- Enter you first name
- Type in your birth date - MMDDYY format
- Type in your social security number - no dashes
- Click submit
You are taken to a password reset page. Follow the on-screen directions. After submitting the page, you will see your username.
If you cannot find your username:
Email bbsupport@pvcc.edu include your FULL NAME, your Student ID / EmplID and the best way to contact you.
Note that your Blackboard username is also your VCCS email username and your Virtual Library of Virginia (VIVA) account name.
